Why
Wonder?
Because this too, is about how you begin your story.
Well, hey there.
Let’s talk wonder
Writing and speaking about wonder makes me tingle all over. Wonder is so wonderful I can hardly stand it - and I love it.
You are made of stardust. Literally. (John Legend even wrote a song about it!) This is a transformative truth that I want you to connect with deeply. So, I write and speak about it.
Tagged ‘your Imago Dei-loving space preacher’ on X (back when it was Twitter), wonder is the humus in which my faith roots and sprouts, providing shady branches to perch in. I only preach about one thing: Imago Dei. We don’t hear enough about our tethering to The Divine being the beginning of our story, and I’m committed to endlessly speak on it.
Wonder has expanded and deepened my spirituality, and I relish in a quote attributed to Carl Jung:
If our religion is based on salvation, our chief emotions will be fear and trembling. If our religion is based on wonder, our chief emotion will be gratitude.
You do not have to be religious to engage my writing, speaking, or even preaching on wonder. My intention is that you find something in my words to tether your heart to, no matter where you find yourself.
Welcome.
Glad you’re here.
